Sewing Tattoos
Hello Readers!
Remember back in January when Editor-in-Chief Ellen March asked about your sewing tattoos?
Yeah, we didn’t really either.
I nearly lost the ONE response in my inbox. But, her tats are really cool, so I’m glad I found them again!
Thanks Tamara for sharing your great sewing ink! It really is true love when you permanently etch an image on your body. I wish I was brave enough, but I just don’t have that kind of dedication. Check it out:
“I got my first antique Singer machine when I was 14. So fitting enough, my first sewing tattoo was of an old Singer similar to the one I first learned to sew on. I also have a vintage
styled dressform, embroidery scissors and a pincushion all covering my entire calf. My tattoo artist is Scott Lukacs. (http://stpetetattoos.com/home.html)” -Tamara B., St. Petersburg, FL
For sharing her tattoos and her story, Tamara won Quick and Easy Pillows & Cushions: 50 Step-by-Step Projects (Cico Books) and a roll of Peel n Stick removable ruler tape! Email [email protected] with your mailing address to receive your prizes!
