Kathy Cano-Murillo is the founder of the award-winning creativity Web site craftychica.com. Since 2001, Kathy has shared hundreds of free craft ideas, written a syndicated craft column for Gannett News Service and appeared on national television shows. She’s the author of seven craft books, including Crafty Chica’s Guide to Artful Sewing (Potter Craft, 2009), Waking up in the Land of Glitter (Grand Central Publishing, 2010) and Miss Scarlet’s School of Patternless Sewing (Grand Central Publishing, 2011). Kathy has been featured in The New York Times and USA Today and on NPR Weekend Edition. She has her own line of Crafty Chica products through iLoveToCreate, a Duncan Enterprises company, and is currently designing a holiday giftware line.
