TV Guests – Debra Immergut & Nicole Blum
Debra Immergut
I’m a consumer and creator of crafty content and a fearless sewing klutz who delights in making things, writing, and writing things about making things. After completing an MFA at Iowa Writers’ Workshop, publishing a book of short stories, and working as a Wall Street Journal arts writer and teacher in Berlin, Germany, I launched a career back in the US as a magazine and web editor. I’ve learned my editing and packaging skills at major media companies including Meredith, Gruner & Jahr, and Disney, and have made it my mission to marry clear, compelling copy with beautiful visuals. I am very proud of my latest co-production…Improv Sewing, from Storey Publishing, co-authored with Nicole Blum. I live in lovely Western Massachusetts with my husband and son, and work as senior editor at FamilyFun magazine.
Nicole Blum
Nicole lives on a small farm in Western Massachusetts where she works in her upstairs barn studio as a freelance crafter and stylist for magazines and a clothing designer with an etsy shop. She also works with her husband in the downstairs of the barn making Carr’s Hard Cider. Two lovely children, a big dog, a cat, and four pigs fill up the rest of her days.
