TV Guests – Colbey Decker

Colbey Decker, Make Your Day Designs founder and owner, grew up in Lansing, IA, where she began to discover the possibilities of design and entrepreneurship. In 2005, she earned a B.A. in Finance from Loras College. In 2008, Colbey earned a M.B.A. with an emphasis in Organizational Performance, Strategic Management and Nonprofit Management from the Tippie School of Management.  

After pursuing a corporate career, Colbey discovered her true passion and began Make Your Day Designs in January 2009. She took her background in process mapping and developed a more user-friendly way to design patterns. Thus far, Colbey has designed 16 clean, sophisticated sewing patterns.
