TV Guests – Christine Haynes
Christine has been sewing since she was 10 years old, when she learned from her mother in small-town Michigan. Christine has a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and started her own line of eponymous sewing patterns in 2011. She is the author of Chic & Simple Sewing (2009), The Complete Photo Guide to Clothing Construction (2014), and an upcoming third book, Skirts & Dresses for First Time Sewers (2014). Her work has been seen in many sewing magazines, in press outlets such as the New York Times, NBC’s Today Show, and PBS’ Sew It All, and she teaches her popular Sassy Librarian Blouse on-line at Craftsy.
