Sew News at the Rocky Mountain Sewing Expo
Last week, the Sew News team paid a visit to the Rocky Mountain Sewing Expo in Denver. It’s always a great opportunity to gather inspiration and connect with fellow sewing enthusiasts. Kari and I spent Friday taking classes, checking out new products and notions and seeing the latest techniques, ideas and patterns. Here we are, walking the show floor between classes:
Despite the very snowy, chilly weather we’ve been having here in Colorado, the Rocky Mountain sewists showed up in droves. Here are some pictures from around the show:

All in all, it was a really fun day. I especially enjoyed Lorraine Henry’s class on taking body measurements, as well as a class about sewing room organization. Most importantly, we got some great ideas for upcoming Sew News features. Stay tuned!
