Online Instructors – Mary Fons

Writer, teacher, and quilter Mary Fons hails from a prominent quilt mafia family. In 2010, she started hosting Quilty, a weekly online how-to program for beginner quilters (F+W Media) at QNNtv.com. She serves as Editor and Creative Director of Quilty magazine. Mary is co-host of “Love of Quilting” on Public Television/Create alongside her mother, quilter and educator Marianne Fons. Mary’s quilts are frequently featured in Quilty, Love of Quilting Magazine, and she lectures and teaches across the country. Her first book, Make + Love Quilts: Scrap Quilts for the 21st Century is available at fine bookstores and quilt shops everywhere, including ShopQuilty.com.
