3 Sewing Projects for Thanksgiving
As the leaves turn to gold and the aroma of pumpkin spice fills the air, we welcome the month of November with open arms. This is the time of year when we cozy up in our homes, surrounded by the warmth of family and friends, and the tantalizing scents of a Thanksgiving feast in the making. But it’s also the perfect time to let your creativity shine and embrace the art of sewing with a touch of Thanksgiving charm. We’re already planning our makes for the T-Day, and we thought you might want to get a jump on the process, too. Here are three projects to sew for your Thanksgiving celebration!
1. A Rainbow for the Table
This set of easy-to-sew linen napkins from Purl Soho will freshen up your Thanksgiving table. A set of gradient cotton fat quarters and some sheer linen is all you need for these beauties! Customize them to match your table setting or add a fall rainbow to the mix.

2. Falling for Fall
We can’t make enough of the Linen Leaves Fall Mats this time of year. They’re so beautiful and they provide the gorgeous colors of fall even as winter approaches. Use them all season, but especially for your Thanksgiving dinner. They are perfect placemats, of course, but they’re also lovely in a cluster as part of your centerpiece.
3. An Apron for the Ages
The apron is designed for the woodworking studio, but its sturdiness will get you get you through all of the cooking and entertaining that comes with the holidays for years to come. You can leave off some of the pockets to make it more kitchen-friendly and easier to stitch up!
More Aprons to Make
Be the Belle of the (Butter)ball with the projects in our Aprons Sewing Collection. The holidays can be messy, but your clothes don’t have to be! This collection of 10 aprons will give you plenty of sewing projects for Thanksgiving!
