  1. About 20 patterns have gone to waste. I like to buy patterns when they go on sale for $1.99 at my local large chain fabric store. That way if I see something that I want to sew in my collection, I already have the pattern. And just think you only paid $1.99 for all those patterns.
But if you weigh almost 300 lbs and go have a gastric bypass surgery and are now 140 lbs. You now have spent $40.00 for patterns that you can’t use. But they are like scrap fabric, you just can’t get rid of it. You might find a use for it one day, yeah right. Does anyone need 20 patterns in size 32? They are coming your way!

  2. I have had Helen’s Closet Blackwood cardigan since November 2018, and I have the fabric I chose to make it in. I have so many patterns I just kept making other garments, but, I am now, at this moment, printing it out and plan to “get ‘er done”! Love the podcast and your YouTube videos (Style Revive, Stitch Lab and Fashion Stitching). thanks so much for keeping me company while I sew.
