Follow along as Sadie Fox Metter walks you through every step of the process.
First you’ll cut all the needed pattern pieces, stitch the straps and flap, and then create and attach the elasticated pockets with either a gathered or pleated edge. Next, you’ll assemble the bag body and lining, learn to box the corners, install the magnet closures, complete the bag upper edge, and attach the flap. Finally, sew on the straps, install the grommets and cord, and your bag is all set for adventuring!

Materials Required:
- 3/4 yard each main fabric and lining fabric and 1/2 yard contrasting fabric
- Eight 3⁄8”-diameter grommets
- 1 yard of 1⁄4”-diameter cord
- Two 5” lengths of 3⁄4”-wide elastic
- Lightweight fusible interfacing (optional)
- 3⁄4”-diameter magnetic snap
- 5” length of 1”-wide grosgrain ribbon
- Removable fabric marker
- Cord stopper
- Seam sealant (optional)
