Description
Make a flock of birds in
assorted print fabrics to hold
notes and photos. They’re fun
and easy to make, and a great
way to use fabric scraps.
Required Materials:
Fabric (for 1 holder)
- 1/8 yd of 45″ wide cotton print fabric (or you may use four scraps that measure at least 4″ x 7″ each)
Other Supplies
- Two 4″ x 7″ rectangles of doublesided
- heavyweight fusible interfacing
- Six-strand embroidery floss
- Embroidery needle
- Two 6 mm black beads
- Spiral paper clips (available at office supply stores) or 20-gauge wire
- Wire cutters (if using 20-gauge wire)
- Needle-nose and crimper pliers
- Adhesive such as Liquid Nails
- Teflon pressing sheet
- Tracing paper
- Disappearing fabric marker
- Tweet Note + Photo Holder pattern
