Sweet Tea Cozy Pattern
When relaxing with friends in the garden on summer evenings, a pot of warm tea is always a welcome treat. This cute cover with a quilted lining is ideal for keeping those steeping leaves warm for a second (or third) cup. The cozy fits a standard four-cup ceramic teapot, but you can adjust the size to fit your pot.
FINISHED SIZE: Fits a 4-cup ceramic pot. Adjust rectangle sizes for larger or smaller tea pots.
FABRIC
- 1/3 yd of 45″ wide cotton print (shown: garden print)
- 1/3 yd of 45″ wide contrast cotton print for lining (shown: green polka dot)
OTHER SUPPLIES
- 10″ – 16″ rectangle of fusible batting
- 1 ½ yd of 3/8″ wide grosgrain ribbon
- Matching sewing thread
- Small safety pin
- Air or water erasable fabric marker
- Two ¾” buttons
