She will also go over the important tools to use, and the key techniques to always remember when doing hand embroidery.

Instructor:
Kelly Nagel has a flare for things that are fresh, stylish and modern without abandoning her traditional southern roots. She has been sewing since she was 7 years old. After 2 decades of sewing, taking classes, entering in quilt shows and actively participating in her local quilt guild, Kelly had taught innumerable friends and acquaintances how to sew. She decided to begin teaching professionally in 2012 after taking the Sulky Teacher Certification class. She joined the Sulky family in 2013 as the Social Media Manager and began writing a sewing blog for Sulky in 2014. She also does demonstrations, teaches classes and lectures for Sulky. Kelly is also an instructor in the Sew Daily course “Artistry in Applique,” the “Not Your Typical Table Topper Course Series” and the Taking Your Clothes From Drab to Fab.
With a passion for sewing, quilting and a Bachelor Degree in English from Florida State University, Kelly enjoys creating new projects and writing easy-to-follow tutorials that even the busiest sewists will enjoy and have time to make.
