Sign up today and enjoy getting the solid foundation you need for your creative journey!
BENEFITS OF THIS COURSE INCLUDE:
- Of course, the “Fearless” part. Free-motion can be very scary to a beginner. The very idea of no feed-dogs feeding the material can be daunting. But it’s been done for decades, going back to treadle machines, so it’s only new to those who haven’t tried it. But it’s not hard – not with Eric’s patience and techniques.
- You will learn exactly how to set up your machine (and you can use any well-maintained machine, you don’t need a fancy, expensive machine). Eric uses a machine that is probably 25 years old, as well as top-of-the-line brand new machines, which you’ll see in the videos.
- Tying on, tying off.
- Perfect stitch length and how to achieve it.
- You will learn all about different weights and types of threads to use for quilting or free-motion embellishment.
- Proper needles, SO important to success.
- Proper posture.
- And a gazillion ideas on where to use this new skill.
- You can sign in and read the materials, watch the videos, DOWNLOAD THE MATERIALS AND VIDEOS TO KEEP FOREVER, and work at your own pace, whenever and wherever you want to.
- We’ll be here every step of the way to help you with any questions or problems during your year-long access.
- You can submit photos of your projects for our input and suggestions, too.
- Share ideas, questions and comments with fellow students within the course, if you want to.
- Instructions include piecing and completing a beautiful wall-hanging using the techniques you will learn.
- Eric also shares a trunk show of his amazing free-motion art pieces, too.
- You won’t want to miss the intermediate course which will follow next year.
This online course is designed to fit into even the busiest of schedules! The course has no set meeting time. Because we include full-color, step-by-step downloadable written directions, and step-by-step downloadable videos to accompany each technique, too, you can practice the techniques again and again anytime in the future. So that pretty much eliminates the time frame of the course and makes it your own to do at your own pace. And the price point is unbeatable!
