Description
The Antero Shell pattern is easily our favorite go-to top pattern, and we love how adaptable it is! In this mini-series, Meg Healy takes you through five different modifications that you can do to the pattern to make it look completely different. She will even show you how to draft the hacks directly on your fabric, so you don?t need to use a lot of paper.
The idea of modifying a pattern for style, is to not alter the fit. Once you determine your size, you can use that as your base. The Antero Shell is a step up from your classic T-shirt and is the perfect wardrobe staple to turn into a dress, button-up, and even a tank! Episodes include:
- Episode 1: The Button Up Hack
- Episode 2: Make it a Dress!
- Episode 3: Wrap it Up
- Episode 4: The More Ruffles the Merrier!
- Episode 5: Color-Blocked Tank
In each episode of this mini-series, Meg will guide you through the drafting process, as well as how to transfer the pattern to a more durable template so you can cut it out again and again. If you enjoyed the sustainable sewing theme of season 1 of Style Revive, then you will love this fun and engaging ?hack-along?!
