life by being repurposed into
place mats for your dining
table. Guests will look
quizzically at familiar colors
and leftover lettering from
the slices of packaging pieced
together for these fun table
coverings.

Required Materials:

FABRIC (for 2 place mats)

• 1 yd of cotton fabric for the place mat backings and binding

OTHER SUPPLIES

• 7/8 yd of heavyweight fusible craft interfacing
• Assorted empty food packaging or shopping bags
• Rotary cutter, rigid acrylic ruler, and self-healing mat
• Fabric marking pencil
• Nonstick press cloth or parchment
  paper
