Description
Pattern hacking is the art – and science – of altering elements within an existing pattern to create a new one altogether. Adjust the length, add pockets, or sew the sleeves differently; the possibilities are only limited by your imagination!
In this workshop, we’ll begin with our Clear Creek Camp Shirt; it’s a classic button-up pattern with a notched collar, breast pocket, set-in sleeves, and an easy fit that allows maximum movement. Meg then demonstrates a variety of innovative pattern hacks that you can use to tweak this design to suit your wardrobe needs and personal style.
New to sewing or pattern hacking? No worries – you can keep things simple and elevate your camp shirt using techniques you’ve previously mastered. If you’re already a pro, however, you’ll love challenging your skills by combining this shirt with our popular Pagosa Pants to make a trendy new boiler suit!
