so pretty! The patchwork is
quickly cut from a pre-cut
fabric bundle, and the sack is
made with insulated batting to
keep your meal at just the right
temperature.
Required Materials:
FABRIC
- Twenty-four 5″ pre-cut squares, cut in half to measure 2 ½” – 5″, or 48 assorted quilting weight cotton scraps measuring 2 ½” – 5″ (shown: prints in a variety of colors, patterns, and scales)
- ½ yd of coordinating cotton for Lining (shown: blue and green raindrop print)
OTHER SUPPLIES
- 22″ of 1″ wide cotton webbing for the handle (shown: white)
- 2 ½” (6.5 cm) of 5/8″ wide Velcro® (shown: white)
- ½ yd of Mylar/poly batting such as Insul-Bright®
- 2 ¼ yd of 2″ wide coordinating, premade bias tape (shown: white)
- Coordinating machine-sewing thread (shown: white)
- Coordinating machine-quilting thread (shown: white)
- Handsewing needle
- Rotary cutter, rigid acrylic ruler, and self-healing mat
- Curved (quilting) safety pins
- Walking foot for sewing machine
- Disappearing ink pen
