Inspired by crystalline rock pillar formations, these deceptively sturdy faceted silk gems feature double-turned hemmed edges for structural interest and strength. Add battery powered tea lights for a sweet gentle glow.

Required Materials:
Fabric

• 1/8 yd of 45″ wide silk organza to make a small, medium, and large votive holder (3 holders)

Other Supplies

• Microtex sewing machine needles, size 70/10 or 65/9
• Sharp handsewing needles
• Thread
• Seam gauge or a fabric folding pen and ruler
• Mist/spray bottle filled with water (optional)
• Votive Base template

Party Lanterns Pattern 

Give your party a festive flair by making and decorating with these fabric lanterns. 

Required Materials:
FABRIC (for 1 lantern)

• One 6″ – 12″ piece from each of 6 different cotton prints and/or solids in coordinating colors for lantern sides
• One 2 ½” – 14″ strip of coordinating solid cotton fabric for top band

OTHER SUPPLIES

• ¾ yd of heavyweight fusible interfacing
• One 2 ½” – 14″ strip of lightweight fusible interfacing
• Coordinating sewing thread
• Handsewing needle
