Create a simple yet stylish skirt with center-front button closure and fun waist tie. Recommended fabrics are any lightweight woven fabric such as chambray or linen. To showcase a stripe or directional print fabric, cut the waistbands, button placket and waist ties on the widthwise grain. Designed by Erin Weisbart of Tuesday Stitches, this digital download includes pattern sizes XS – XL.

Supplies:

• 2 ¾ yards of 54″-wide lightweight woven fabric (such as chambray or linen)
• 2 yards of interfacing
• 1⁄2 yard of 11⁄2″-wide waistband elastic
• 1″- diameter button
• Ten 5⁄8″-diameter buttons
• All-purpose thread
• Serger or pinking shears (optional)
