This is fiber art at its finest-a silk skirt embellished with nuno-felting highlighting the chiffon overlay. An invisible side zipper and velvet bound waistline provide an easy fit to focus on this oh-so-eyecatching hemline accent.

Fabric:

• Main: 2 yd silk habotai
• Overlay: 2 yd silk chiffon
• Enough prewashed and pressed cotton muslin to cover the Border template

Required Materials:

• Wool fiber/roving (not Superwash)
• Merino wool blended with silk or Tencel
• Angelina fiber, and/or metallic threads
• 1 yd water-soluble stabilizer
• Elastic ties, ¼” wide
• One invisible skirt zipper, 7″
• Hook-and-eye set
