Description
Create a trio of hats from fleece. Add embroidered faces and in-the-hoop horns from fleece scraps for an adorably monstrous effect. This pattern was featured in the Sept/Oct 2018 issue of Creative Machine Embroidery.
This pattern includes instructions and all the cutting templates necessary to make a lined fleece hat to fit a baby, toddler, or child. Please note that this pattern DOES NOT include the embroidery designs shown on the featured samples. Design information can be found in the instructions.
Supplies needed:
- 1/3 yard each of 2 fleece colors (exterior & lining)
- All-purpose thread
If embroidering, you’ll also need:
- Two 5” squares of fleece (horns)
- White fabric scraps (mouth appliqués)
- Polyester fiberfill
- Adhesive-backed stabilizer
- Embroidery designs: face elements & in-the-hoop horns
