In the Hoop Penny Pouch Embroidery Design Download

Stitch a sweet zipper case to hold coins, keys, USB drives and more. This simple in-the-hoop project is perfect for a beginner – no tricky zipper insertion steps required! This design is featured in the January/February 2019 issue of Creative Machine Embroidery.

The In-the-Hoop Penny Pouch design measures 3.81″ high x 3.81″ wide with a stitch count of 1,111 and is intended to use one thread color.

This design is available for embroidery machine formats: ART50, ART80, DST, ExP, HUS, JEF, PES, VIP, AND VP3. Also included is a spec sheet for the design and PDF instructions for making the pouch. Your design arrives in one file in ZIP format-the file will need to be unzipped before transferring to your machine. Most desktop computers have software that will open a zip file.

To create the In-the-Hoop Penny Pouch, you will need the following supplies in addition to an embroidery machine:

• Four 5″ squares of cotton fabric
• Tear-away stabilizer
• Two 2 1/2″x4 1/2 rectangles of fusible webbing
• 7″-long or longer zipper
• 3″ length of 3/8″-wide ribbon
• Key ring
• All-purpose thread
