Out of stock

A raglan sleeve is a very popular shirt style, and it is quite easy to draft if you know all the steps! In this video Meg will demonstrate on a regular Kimono sewing pattern how to accurately transform it and draft it into a raglan sleeve style. Excess fabric is needed after you draw the style line and separate the pieces, so what is great in this video is that Meg will show you how much to add and how to slash and spread the pieces to achieve the perfect raglan.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Establishing and marking the raglan seam line on your kimono pattern
  • Tracing off the separate pieces
  • Marking a similar style line on the back kimono piece
  • Manipulating the sleeve patterns to combine the front and back
  • Adding fullness to the underarm of the sleeve pattern
