this colorful table runner.
Use bold solids to make a
patchwork of overlapping
diamonds, then insert a hint of
your jazziest prints. A neutral
linen background will make the
whole design sparkle.

Fabric Requirements:

• ¼ yd bold solid color cotton fabric for each of the 2 end squares and
  details in the binding and back panel (shown: green and darker aqua,
  Fabric A and D)
• ¼ yd of a bold solid color cotton fabric for each of the 2
  central squares and details in the binding and back panel (shown: orange
  and lighter aqua, Fabrics B and C)
• 1 yd of a print cotton fabric for back panel and the 3 squares where
  the diamonds overlap (shown: red floral print, Fabric F)
• 1 1/8 yd of a neutral solid fabric (shown: linen/cotton blend in
  natural, Fabric L)

OTHER SUPPLIES

• 18″ – 64″ piece of low-loft batting Coordinating thread
• Quilting thread in coordinating color (shown: natural)
• Handsewing needle
• Rotary cutter, rigid acrylic rulers, and self-healing mat.
• Quilter’s safety pins or quilt basting spray
• Walking foot or even-feed foot (optional)
• Blue painter’s tape
