Inspired by Japanese zakka style “finding savvy in the ordinary” is at the heart of these pretty place mats. Raid your fabric stash to create the pieced hexagons, then combine with natural linen for a charming place setting.
Finished Size: 18″ wide x 12 ¼” long
Fabric Requirements:
– 23 scraps of various cotton prints for hexagons, each at least 2 ½” x 2 ½”
– 2 bias strips of 2″ wide x 30″ long cotton print for edging
– 12″ wide x 18″ long pieces of linen fabric
– 12″ wide by 18″ long piece of waffle fabric
– 12″ wide x 18″ long piece of low loft-cotton batting
