Roll-Up Seed Saver Pattern

Keep your seeds fresh for next season by slipping your packets into this darling, handy roll-up. After filling the fifteen pockets with your leftover seeds, just roll up and tie the seed saver. Then store in a cool, dark place. Laminated cotton protects seeds and keeps out moisture.

Fabric Requirements:
Yardage requirements are based on
58″ wide fabric. Directional patterns may require extra fabric.

• ½ yd of laminated cotton for exterior side panels and ties: Fabric A
• ¼ yd of laminated cotton for exterior center panel: Fabric B
• 3/8 yd of laminated cotton for interior lining: Fabric C
• 5 laminated cotton fabric scraps of various colors, each measuringat least 5 ¼” – 13 ¼” for pocket panels

OTHER SUPPLIES:

• Pattern pieces 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5
• Coordinating machine sewing thread
• Rotary cutter, rigid acrylic ruler, and self-healing mat
• Sewing scissors and superfine pins
• Painter’s (or masking) tape
• Press cloth
