Description
Stitch a cute companion to keep you or a loved one company everywhere you go. These animal friends are stitched entirely in the hoop, and then easily made into a clip or by adding snaps to the attached tabs or stitching the tab around a key ring or swivel clip. The light stitching on the face and satin-stitch finish make the designs ideal for almost any material, including fabric, cork, vinyl or leather. The collection includes an owl, butterfly, cat, dog, llama and unicorn. This design collection is featured in the January/February 2019 issue of Creative Machine Embroidery.
The designs vary slightly in size, with the largest measuring 3.93″ high x 2.54″ wide with a stitch count of 4,176 and 5 thread colors.
This collection is available for embroidery machine formats: ART, CSD, DST, ExP, HUS, JEF, PCM, PCS, PES, SEW, SHV, VIP, VP3 and xxx. Also included are spec sheets for the design and PDF instructions for making the fobs. Your designs arrive in one file in ZIP format-the file will need to be unzipped before transferring to your machine. Most desktop computers have software that will open a zip file.
To create one Furry Friends Fob, you will need the following supplies in addition to an embroidery machine:
- Two 3″x5″ rectangles of felt, cork, vinyl, leather or fabric
- Tear-away stabilizer
- Thread: bobbin and embroidery
- Embroidery or painter’s tape
- Applique scissors
- 8mm snap
