Description
These wonderfully useful
oilcloth buckets can hold
anything you might not usually
put in a fabric bucket. You can
even use them to store makeup
on your bathroom counter, or
for diaper cream, Legos,
colored pencils, anything!
Required Materials:
Fabric (for three containers)
- ½ yd each of three different 45″ – 54″ wide decorator weight linens or cottons for the exterior (shown: Japanese linen/cotton blends by Kokka)
- ½ yd each of three different 45″ – 60″ wide laminated cottons or oilcloth for the lining (shown: Central Park by Kate Spain for Moda)
Other Supplies
- 1 yd heavyweight fusible interfacing
- ½ yd ½” plain or decorative twill tape or ribbon (shown: measuring tape twill tape design)
- Thread in coordinating colors
- Disappearing ink fabric marker
- Self-adhesive, double-sided basting tape
- Press cloth
- Tear-away stabilizer or tissue paper (optional)
- Teflon foot for sewing machine (optional)
