This clock sewing project will add a sense of whimsy to any room. and is a perfect opportunity to practice basic hand embroidery stitches such as backstitch, satin stitch, and French knots. Clock kits are readily available at major craft stores and make this project not just fun but functional.

FABRIC

• 18″ square of medium-weight woven fabric (shown: linen) or 14-count Aida cloth
• Optional: 6 yd of ¼” wide fabric strips to wrap around embroidery hoop (shown: teal linen)
