Slopers are the perfect starting point for designing and making your own sewing patterns and garments! Slopers are the basic template for the pattern making process, and they are used to establish the fit of the body. So when you have a perfectly fitting sloper to your body, you’ll have a perfectly fitting garment! Through this course we’ll guide you through the entire detailed process of developing a sloper library consisting of a bodice and sleeve, skirt, pants, and dress sloper. Then to top it all off in the end you’ll see how to preserve these slopers so you can use them again and again!

Workshop runs 6/28 – 7/26. Registration closes 7/12.

Meg’s instruction and the handouts are excellent. I viewed all of the videos once before I went back to re-watch and do the drafting, however when I went back it said I finished the course and the option to submit assignments wasn’t there, I couldn’t figure out how to submit and did ask that question through the help but they did not understand my question. I submitted the first assignment with a posted comment. It would be great if we could view and had the option ourselves to say we had completed it or if the assignments could be submitted up until the day the course ends even once we had “completed” the course (i.e. viewed the videos)
