Cozy Toes Slipper Sewing Pattern

Sew a pair of faux-fur lined slippers with this easy pattern and full instructions. The pattern is multisized for standard shoe sizes 5 to 12. (Slight adjustments in yardage indicated are needed for sizes larger than a size 9.)

Log Cabin Slippers Pattern

Welcome guests with these fun slippers! They make a great stash-busting project, so pick a range of hues from around the color wheel. Made with nonslip padded bottoms, the slippers in each pair can match each other or be made with contrasting colors.

Finished Size: All sizes are 5″ (12.5 cm) wide. S (5-6: 9½” (24 cm) long. M (7-8): 10″ (25.5 cm) long. L (9-10): 10¾” (27.5 cm) long. Slippers shown are size Large.

Fabric Requirements:.

• Assorted print cotton scraps at least 3″ (7.5 cm) wide (see Notes) in two groups (A and B) for log cabin piecing .
• 1/8 yd (11.5 cm) each of two 45″ (114.5 cm) wide print cotton fabrics for binding (shown: navy blue and red pin dots) .
• 2 fabric scraps, each at least 8″ – 9″ (20.5 – 23 cm), for upper linings .
• ½ yd (46 cm) of 45″ (114.5 cm) wide natural linen for insoles .
• ½ yd (46 cm) of nonslip fabric (such as Jiffy Grip) for soles

Cozy Slippers Pattern

This is a great scrap-busting project! These slip-on Mary Jane slippers have a patchwork quilted upper and are lined with cotton flannel. They feature a cute, narrow 3/8″ gathered strap that encases ¼” elastic. The soles are extra comfy and include a double layer of batting and non-skid soles.

FABRIC
— 1/3 yd 44″ cotton for Slipper Tops and Strap: Main fabric (or use a fat quarter, 18″ × 22″)
— ½ yd 44″ contrast cotton for Bias Binding (or one fat quarter)
— ¼ yd nonskid fabric for Sole
— 1/3 yd 44″ cotton flannel for Slipper Top Lining and Inside Sole
— ¼ yd 44″ muslin for Sole Interlining

OTHER SUPPLIES
— Templates, supplied on insert

— ½ yd batting
— 1/3 yd lightweight, fusible interfacing
— ¼” elastic, 12″
— Matching thread
— Fabric-safe marker or tailor’s chalk
