paper? Cut a flock of birds
from printed fabrics and
use them with machineembroidered
details to dress
up a pre-made tea towel for
kitchen decor that’s as quick
as it is cute.

Required Materials:

Fabric (for 1 tea towel)

• 1 premade tea towel (shown: aqua/green plaid and stripe)
• 1/8 yd of cotton print fabric for the contrasting strip (Contrast; shown: aqua polka dots and green tone-ontone
• dots)
• Scraps of assorted cotton prints featuring bird motifs, flowers, and leaves

Other Supplies

• Fusible web
• Contrasting and matching machine sewing or embroidery thread
• Removable fabric marking pen
• Rotary cutter, rigid acrylic ruler, and self-healing cutting mat
