Sewing a Thread Chain Belt Loop

Thread-chain belt loops are so easy to do once you know how. You can add them to the waistline of summer dresses that you want to accent with a thin, decorative belt. The thread-chain is nearly invisible when you use a matching thread color, so it’s the perfect alternative to a standard fabric-sewn carrier. In this video, we’ll show you how to sew a delicate thread-chain belt loop that can be added to any garment, inside or out. You can also sew one to the inside shoulder seam of a wide-neck top (and add a snap fastener) in order to hold your bra straps in place and prevent them from showing.
