Stretch Fabric Series Part 3: Sew and Draft Your Own Personal 7 Piece Workout Wear Collection-

We all know there is a shortage of athletic and workout wear sewing patterns out there, and they require specific pattern making and sewing techniques. But now with this brand new course developed by Meg Healy you’ll be guided through the process of drafting and sewing your own personal collection of workout wear garments. We’ll start from the very beginning and learn about the stretch factor of knit fabrics and how to accommodate for the stretch percentage on the sewing pattern (did I loose you yet?). I know it sounds complicated at first, but the course is designed to be very user friendly and each session is taught through on-camera demonstrations and printable handouts. By the end of this 6 week long course you will have a great understanding of athletic fabrics and how to sew with them. Better yet, you will have made a running tank, yoga tank, t-shirt, leggings, shorts, and yoga pants complete with matching headband! Everything that you need to kick start your sewing and workouts.

After completion of this course you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to make even more athletic garments, since Meg will demonstrate how to develop these patterns on slopers meant for knit fabrics (you’ll also get PDFs of the sloper patterns!). In the last session you be shown how easy it is to customize your slopers and make your own designs to execute, and by the 6th session you’ll be a pro!
