In this video, we’ll demonstrate how to sew the perfect bias bound seam finish. This is a great technique to use when you want to give a garment a quality, couture finish. A bias-bound seam finish is sewn by enclosing the raw edges of your seam allowance in a strip of bias binding (also called bias tape or bias strips). This method is also ideal for finishing fine fabrics that can be a challenge to serge or zig-zag. We’ll go over every step in detail so you’ll be ready to start sewing your own bias-bound seams!
