I love December and I love looking toward the New Year. I have many plans, as always for the upcoming sewing year. Here are a few of the sewing plans I have. And, I would love to hear what you have planned in the comments section below.
First I want to make a lot more pants. I'm finally get the fit down quite well and now it's time to experiment with details and to style some different pants up for my wardrobe.
Next, I want to fit the bodice so that I can have great fitting dresses, jackets and blouses. The bodice has been a challenge for me to get a great fit. So, that will be my next big undertaking for 2015.
I also want to start a few home projects, like re-upholstering chairs. I've got the fabric, just need to do it.
I would like to make a few metal framed purses. These would be great for stash busting. And, If I had my 'stuff' together over the holidays these would have been adorable for use as holiday gifts to my friends. Next year!
I have a lot more, but we know how these resolutions work out if we get to excited and then have so much to do we end up not doing anything at all. Been there and I still do that! So, let's make a resolution to take our sewing a little bit easier this coming year, and let's have a lot of fun with it.
As always, I enjoy hearing from you and would love to know your sewing resolutions for 2015!
