My great-grandmother taught me to sew at a very young age. Although I didn’t sew regularly growing up I knew there was a passion there. I was lucky enough to go to Savannah College of Art & Design and graduated with a degree in Fibers and minored in Accessory Design. I love fashion and researching upcoming trends and color forecasting. Being the Assistant Editor of Sew News, Creative Machine Embroidery and Sew It All allows me to push the boundaries and experiment with fashion trends in my “Get the Look” and “High-End Hack” columns. I am lucky to have a job where I am able to be creative and encourage others to be creative.
