I need more info on "baste the heel seam" there is not a picture of what this means...any help would be nice
Basing a seam is where you hand stitch in long stitches to replace the pins before you sew the seam. You can remove the basting stitches after you have sewn the seam. Particularly if u can see them. Basting is useful in many instances where a seam is tricky or the fabric might move lots, or when u can't use pins.
