This file contains pattern pieces only. Project instructions are on page 114 of Stitch magazine Spring 2010.

This pretty cotton jersey tunic is as easy to wear as it is to make. The deceptively simple design features a lace yoke framed by a ruffle trim attached with gathering stitches to create a stylish drape.

Here are the two Lace Ruffle Tunics I have sewn (one in jersey, with the ruffle, and one in silk, without). I blogged about them here: http://mybeaubaby.blogspot.com/2011/04/two-sew-daily-tunics.html. This pattern was easy to sew (even without the instructions, which I did not have). It's also easy to make changes, like I did in the silk version (I added a band at the waist hem and on the sleeves.) I'm very happy with the results. I would totally recommend it!

Beauzo, I love your versions of this top. Great fabric choices - the silk version is so sophisticated! You should add these photos to the Stitch on the Street gallery too (under "Photo Galleries" up on the navigation bar), that way people can leave you comments and feedback!
