This unlined, fitted coat features a button closure and two-piece sleeves with a slit.
Can't wait to get started on this! Just a quick novice question before I make a cut though... does the sizing chart refer to body measurements or garment measurements? My body size matches the size S on the chart, but if that's the garment dimensions then perhaps I need to go for the next size up instead??

The sizing chart generally refers to Body measurements so that you know on which line to cut the pattern. If you found that your measurements are Size Small then cut the pattern out on the S line. The seam allowance is included too, just refer to the explanations in the Stitch mag to know exactly how much.... Don't forget to mark all the notches etc found in the pattern on you fabric..
