Tank Top Sewing Pattern Review: Rumi Tank by Christine Haynes Patterns

This is our last Tank Top Pattern Review post. We hope you’ve enjoyed this month’s Tank Top Extravaganza! Today we’re reviewing the Rumi Tank by Christine Haynes Patterns.Vanessa Lyman, Love of Quilting Content Director, modeled this tank for the June/July issue of Sew News.

She loved the relaxed fit and racer-back style of this tank. The fabric is a sturdy knit, 1020-02 Cross Gray, Cloud9 Knits, which will stand up to lots of washing and wearing.

This is a simple casual tank pattern that makes for great workout wear when made from sport lycra or other breathable fabric. A good amount of ease is included in the pattern, so the sizing is forgiving. If in doubt or between sizes, go with the smaller size.

I made the dress version of this pattern and use it as a swim cover-up. It’s soft and easy enough to also wear out–or sleep in as pajamas! Fabric choice is everything.
