  1. My kind of book. I just started to sew again after many, many years. Sewing in a straight line is not all that easy. PLEASE, I need that book!
    Thanking you in advance.

  2. I have a passion for sewing and always learning new sewing techniques. Most of all making people happy with my projects and sharing them with friends. Have a blessed and happy day! : )

  3. Wow!! I am teaching myself to sew and one of my objectives is to sew in a straight line…almost accomplished….next objective, to get the book!

  4. It’s a family joke that I cannot draw or cut a straight line. I have not told them that I also have issues sewing a straight line. I laughed when I read Amazon’s synopsis of the book that “Just about anyone can sew a straight line.” Help!

    Thanks for the giveaway, Suzanne

  5. I couldn’t sew a straight line even if someone offered me a $1,000,000. So maybe this book would help me either (1) sew a straight line, or (2) not worry about it. Is there something out there that also helps in cutting a straight line? I need help doing that too.

  6. What a great book to have even for the most experienced seamstress, I would love to have this, even tho I am NOT the most experienced…. thanks again for a great book to check out even if we don’t win one.

  7. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words and I’m certain this book would save me SEVERAL thousand words while trying to teach my daughters to sew. Thanks for the chance to win. I’ll be buying one for sure.

  8. Knit and Crochet today was one of my must see shows when I had access to that cable channel. I enjoyed it very much and never knew that Brett Bara was also a sewist. I envy those who are able to create a life for themselves doing the things they love. This sounds like a really fun book!

  9. What a great looking book, I don’t have any spare afternoons to sew at present but think I might be able to get going again when the children are back at school!
    thanks for the giveaway

  11. What a great gift….for me! As a beginner (at age 52) to sewing, I need all the help I can get to keep it simple and less intimidating. I would relish a copy of this book. Who says you can’t teach an old seamstress new tricks?

  12. Any sewing tips from someone who knows what they are talking about is very welcome on my shelf! I’m teaching myself how to sew and I am having my ups and downs. This book could definitely help me become much better!
