I use to sew way back in high school and enjoyed it.
Had a birthday on 2/15 and decided that I wanted to sew again.
Brought a singer and other items and in my spare time I am teaching myself new things.
I would like to make my own clothes or make adjustment to the clothes I have because I am a plus sized women in the middle of shrinking (down 17lbs) and I don't like what I see out there. I love colors, I'm on a budget and would like to make the clothes I would like to wear.
Glad to hear you are sewing again. I myself have a similar story. Lately I have been doing mostly quilts and bags and such. Not too many clothes but I do agree that the fashion industry is severely lacking in options in many regards. Hope you have lots of fun sewing your new duds! Upload some pics too.
