Sewing Buddies/Pen Pals Anyone?

Just trying to gauge the interest in folks wanting to have a sewing buddy or pen pal.  We would exchange projects, work on projects together (virtually) and compete in contests, all while making a new sewing friend.  Let me know your thoughts and if this would be something that would interest you! No solid framework has been set up so I'm also open to any suggestions you may have!

My name is Karen and I think you have a great idea. Making friends, sharing ideas and getting ideas from others would really help me. And although I have  been sewing since I was a child, there are things I have forgotten and I am sure some new methods available!

What a great idea, I have been trying to set up a sewing buddy get together for ages in my local area and am just getting my fuzzy brain into the world of blogs so i can keep in touch with friends and fellow sewing nuts.

Hi, what a great idea. I live in rural Canada, so don't have many sewing friends, well none actually . so I'm in! I love the idea.

This is great to me because I don't have others that have a passion for sewing like I do and this would help me learn more even though I've been sewing for years, plus get to communicate with new friends.Good Luck. Pearl

Hello- I like this,too- I deal with a brain differece that the computor hides and sewing is my real connection to life-- I am a single om to 2 fur buddies and after beinghealed- a miracle- from when my car was hit by a propane truck I am making angel dolls- and making friends here is a great idea-- Katie
