For the "Festive Table Runner" by Marcia Van Oort in Stitch Gifts 2012, please note the following corrections to the instructions:
Step 3: The last entry should be: two 30" x 7 1/2" (not 28" x 7 1/2").
Step 5 should read: For the table runner base, mark and cut 45-degree angles on both ends of the 56" x 6 1/2" piece of batting-covered interfacing. Make sure the angles slant the same way.
Step 6, 4th line: The first number should be: 65 (not 64).
Step 7: The first measurement should be 30" (not 28").
Step 8 should read: Lay the 57" x 7 1/2" brocade piece right side up. Then, right side down, lay the 30" x 7 1/2" brocade piece from Step 7 with the pressed end at the center of 57" piece. Lay the other 30" x 7 1/2" piece right side down over rest of 57" piece, raw edges even. Stitch around all sides. This forms the brocade base with a center opening. (The angled ends will be cut and stitched in the next two steps.)
Step 9 should read: Center angled interfacing insert on top of brocade base. Using the angled interfacing insert as a template, mark the 45-degree angle on each end. Set interfacing insert aside for Step 11.
Step 10 should read: Sew the angled seams as follows. Sewing a short way on the long edges, pivot at corners, and sew the angled ends. Trim angled seams. Turn right side out through center opening. Press flat.
Step 12: Delete this step (it's already been done).
