Artist Trading Card for my Sewing Pen Pal

I made this Artist Trading Card for my Pen Pal in California.  She is making one for me as well.  This was my first attempt and I'm very happy with the look.  It is imperfect, as I am, so the imperfections are intentional. It's tea-stained fabric printed on an injet printer along with some scraps. it was very easy and a lot of fun – it was a great activity to work out my creative muscles. . . .

If you're interested in getting a Sewing Pen pal (an official name has yet to be determined), let me know and I'll be sure to pass along to the editors.  Just leave a comment and we'll go from there.  I'm hoping to get a sewing pen pal group set up in the very near future.

About Heidi

I love to sew. . . . . daily!  I am a former English professor, and I've taught sewing for several years.  I'm the former owner of Sew Sew Darling Sewing Studio, and I now teach sewing classes at Hobby Lobbies in Louisiana.

I'm a California native who relocate to the deep south a few years ago.  We love it here.  We just bought a small farm, and when I'm not sewing, I'm getting ready for my spring chickens and my spring and summer garden.  I also predict a milk goat in our future so we can make goat cheese.

I have two children, and we are in the process of adopting our third via the foster program in Louisiana.  We are so excited!
